Good questions.

Does a bot join my calls?

No. Loudly records your microphone and your Mac's call audio. Nobody sees a new participant.

Which call apps does it work with?

Loudly records the call audio on your Mac, so it does not depend on the app. Calendar events with a Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom link get a Join button.

Do the other people know I am recording?

Loudly does not announce it. Telling them, and following the recording laws where you and they are, is up to you.

Where are my recordings and notes?

On your Mac, in ~/.loudly. There is no Loudly account and nothing is uploaded to us.

Does it send my meetings to an AI company?

Only if you choose a cloud summary provider, and then only the transcript and your notes, never the audio. With summaries off or on Ollama, nothing leaves your Mac. Privacy policy

Which languages does it understand?

English and Spanish.

Close the laptop. The notes are done.
